Venus and cupid in the Museum of  Fine Arts, is very similar to this work, although with less figures. Has an Original label from Richard Haworth picture dealer in 1864. Panel is 13" high by 15 1/2" With frame 21 1/4 high by 24 1/2 wide. This work comes is an early frame, which is rare. { frame dates to about 1890, as Richard Haworth framed it } Signed lower right of the work, with de la pena's initiials N.D.
