You are bidding on a numbered print of "Happier Days" It is #81 of 250. The artist is Elsie Beiler of Paradise Pennsylvania. The prints size is 15 3/4 x 21 1/4. The finished frame measurement is 19 high x 24 1/2 wide. It is framed in a beautiful wood oak traditional frame. At the bottom of the print in the center it reads: "HAPPIER DAYS" West Nickel Mines Amish School Lancaster County, PA. There is a postcard with the original statement from the artist on the back. It explains how a portion of the proceeds from the original painting went to help the survivors and their families. I would like to make it perfectly clear that the sale of this particular one does not. I am financially having to resell the one I purchased.(unfortunatly) The Back Reads: The Nickel Mines community is my neighborhood, and I was deeply affected by the happenings October 2, 06 at the West Nickel Mines Amish School. I knew that eventually I wanted to do a painting of the school. As i remembered driving by in earlier times, and seeing the children at play, I also knew that the painting would include the children playing happily, the simple games that they so much enjoyed. Prayers and tears mixed with my paints as I worked with pencil and brush in hand. The parents and extended families of these dear children were always on my heart, along with the couragous people who responded in so many ways to their emergency. I pray that we will carry in our lives the joy and happiness of the children, along with the spirit of Forgiveness shown by the parents and families of the Nickel Mines Community. Elsie Beiler (Artist) A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Nickel Mines School and The Roberts Family Funds. Please Please note that the last line does not hold true of this sale. I do not want to have anyone think the wrong of this sale. Please bid or buy this beautiful painting that I hold dear in my heart and am sure you would too. As a lancaster County resident I will not forget the day but cherish the greatness that came out of it. The painting is still wrapped and has never been opened. There is no return on this item. It will come profesionally wrapped and I will ship it with insurance. Shipping is on me.It will ship within two days of recieved payment. Thanks for bidding.
