He is a member of the Painters and Sculptors Association in Israel since 1997.   Sachi graduated from the Technion Institute in Haifa as B.Sc. in Architecture and Town Planning, 1982. Since then he has been working as an architect in different sites in Europe. In 1983, Sachi won the First Prize at the international contest for the planning of a Holocaust Monument in Jerusalem.   Sachi's paintings form a travel journal, which depict his impressions of landscapes he encountered during his travels. Initial photographic documentation of landscapes is followed by landscape oil paintings, on large canvas. The paintings express Sachi's emotions and reminiscences of the landscapes, and evolve into a long process of soul searching. When complete, his work conveys the achievement of growth, and the synthesis of emotional experience with the painted landscape.
