I have no history on the painting other than it was purchased at an estate sale in north western Massachusetts almost on the New Hampshire border,  I know André Masson lived not to far from this area in New Preston, Connecticut at one point in his life. Less than 110 miles from where I purchased it.                 The canvas measures 20" wide x 35" long,  no tears or punctures or repairs to the canvas, the paint has some crackling and extremely minor flaking. In it's original thin wood frame. The canvas shows excellent age,  appropriate with the era that this would have been painted.  We can email you more pictures if needed.
