Written into the glaze is also the text, 'Edition | Picasso | 2/500 | Madoura' inscribed along the inner surface of the baseEdition: Numbered 2/500 on the inner surface of the baseCondition: In good condition with pristine markings and bright coloration throughout  Description:Created in 1968, this ceramic turned vase has been inscribed and stamped in the base: ‘Edition Picasso’ and ‘Madoura Plein Feu’ with hand written, inscribed text detailing the publisher and edition: ‘Edition | Picasso | 2/500 | Madoura.’  It has been made using white, earthenware clay with engobe decoration under a partial, brushed glaze and black patina with red, green, white, and black coloration throughout.
